Fundamental is the statutory floor and the identity of the organisation, held in one place. It is the only programme every person who draws a wage from Evolve sits inside - nurse, carer, chef, housekeeper, maintenance, administrator, head office. It is not the beginning of a journey. It is the thing that never stops.

The word matters. Fundamental means essential to the structure - the thing holding everything else up. Foundation means the bit you build on and leave behind. Nobody leaves this behind. A registered manager with twenty years’ service does F09 on the same cycle as someone who started on Monday. That is the point, and it is why Foundation stays out of the architecture.
